Return to Lily Pond Lane by Emily Harvale
Life couldn’t be better for Mia and her friends in Little Pondale – until tragedy strikes…
Mia Ward is on cloud nine after a magical Christmas and New Year and she isn’t the only one. Everyone on Lily Pond Lane seems to be living in blissful harmony. Until tragedy strikes… not once, but twice. And as Hettie Turner points out: ‘Bad things always come in threes.’
Whilst the other residents of Little Pondale are wondering what might happen next, Mia is busy worrying about her friends and trying to help them with their grief. But she needs to be careful. Just when she thought she had everything, there’s a very real chance she might lose the only thing she truly wants.
My thoughts...
Return to Lily Pond Lane is a gorgeous read that is jam packed with heart, love and emotion and I absolutely loved every moment of this book. It's emotional pull will melt the heart and have you searching for the tissues but it's a series that is not to be missed.
The characters gracing the pages are warm and welcoming and now feel like old friends which says it all about the writing style of Emily Harvale. Little Pondale is a gorgeous pocket of the world created to set this series upon and it comes alive with sincerity and heart.
But what a story....it had highs and lows a plenty but the balance was set to absolute perfection and finished on a glorious high note to end in style and keep that anticipation going until the next installment.
I loved my time amongst the folk of Little Pondale as always. If you haven't started this series yet then what are you waiting for....dive in today you won't be disappointed.
