The overture to this story was delivered with such a dramatic air that it left me on the edge of my seat. The twisted movements of the killer had me holding my breath in anticipation of what was inevitably going to happen next and I was pulled head first into the story whether I liked it or not.
The gripping tale developed around me and took me on a roller coaster ride of twists and turns which ensured that I kept reading on in a dramatic frenzy. The well developed characters invited you into their chaotic world and captured your attention with a detailed plot that was both exciting and twisted.
The writing was well though out with a pychological take on the dramatic events which added more layers to the piece than just a detailed depiction of blood spilt along with a body count tally.
As Sick As Our Secrets is a complex web of perspectives that will leave you desperate to know more. I was engrossed in the story and didn't come up for air until the concluding pages.
